What are round wheel diamond burs used for?

Reducing broad surfaces, mainly the occlusal surface, in crown and bridge preparation with high-speed handpieces.

How do I reduce the occlusal surface with a wheel bur?

Cut depth grooves first, then reduce the surface between the grooves following the cusp inclines, so the reduction stays even and keeps the original anatomy.

How much reduction do I need?

It depends on the restorative material (zirconia, lithium disilicate or metal-ceramic). Follow the restoration manufacturer's minimum thickness guidelines.

What is the difference between G4 and G5?

They are two head sizes of the same round wheel design, both in coarse grit.

Which handpiece does it fit?

It has a friction-grip (FG) shank for high-speed handpieces. Each pack contains 5 burs.
